I started self-learning trumpet since Oct 1999 and here is the trumpet I am using right now.  When I practice at home, I need to use YAMAHA Silent Brass.

Preferred by players seeking a lively trumpet with quick response. Features lightweight body and bell, and standard construction #25 mouthpipe (except for 72* bell).

1. BACH Trumpet Mouthpiece Model No. 7C

  • Depth of Cup: Medium
  • Cup Diameter: 16.20mm
  • Rim Shape: Medium wide, lowered toward the outside. Medium sharp inside. Well rounded edge with a perfect grip.
  • Probably the most widely used model in the world. Its brilliant tone is preferred by school musicians and by artists.

2. BACH Trumpet Mouthpiece Model No.10½C

  • Depth of Cup: Medium
  • Cup Diameter: 15.90mm
  • Rim Shape: Medium wide
  • Fine high register, resonating low register. Particularly useful to players without a strong embouchure. Ideal for C trumpet.

3. BACH Mega Tone Trumpet Mouthpiece Model No. 1

  • Rim Shape: Medium thin
  • Extra large cup for players with a robust embouchure. Produces a great volume of rich, full, clear tonetone
